In high school I took multiple child developmental classes and got to go to the early childhood center and work with kids. I coached ages 3-10 for cheer. I did an internship with a pediatric home health nurse. I was a lifeguard for 3 summers in high school. I also babysat a kid with autism for about a year.

I was in “friendship club” in high school where I was paired with a special needs student and we did activities together. I also babysat a kid with autism. I have a brother and cousin with autism and interact with them all the time.
