I have been babysitting & taking care of kids of all ages basically forever and I began getting paid babysitting jobs by 12 years old and have never really stopped. I owned, ran was main teacher & caregiver at Kessler's Kids Family Child Care Center. Prepared all lesson plans/activities and taught daily preschool program; prepared before/after school arts & crafts and fun activities to engage school-aged students up to age 12. AWANA leader, girl scout leader, church child care leader. High school study hall supervisor, cheer helper, Habitat for Humanity special projects helper, room mom, neighborhood mom & choice hangout house for kids of all ages. I've loved being full-time caregiver for my first grandson, Mason, from infancy to (unfortunately for grandma) the full-time student he now is.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have a swimming pool & hot tub that my grandkids love to play in all summer long. We like to go to parks, go on hikes, play anything and everything and use our imaginations to create outside fun. Inside, we like to cook, play games, do science and art activities, play guys, build Legos, build & play with marble works and make up silly or scary stories. It depends on what grandkids are present - as each one's interests and activity level is so different from one another.
