More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been working with children for most of my life, starting with helping care for my two nieces and nephew since I was in elementary school. Since then, I’ve gained experience working with children of all ages, from elementary school through high school. I currently work with an after-school and summer learning program serving multiple school districts throughout Southern California. I love creating a fun, positive, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited to learn.

Some activities I love doing with kids include dancing, fun learning activities, movie days, arts and crafts, and interactive games. I enjoy finding creative ways to make learning exciting while also making sure kids have fun, stay engaged, and create happy memories along the way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is the opportunity to be a positive influence in a child’s life. I strongly believe that you become a reflection of the people you surround yourself with, and because of that, I strive to model qualities like kindness, empathy, patience, responsibility, and respect. Children are constantly learning from the people around them, and I hope to be someone who encourages them to be confident, caring, and true to themselves. Knowing that I can help create a safe, supportive, and positive environment while making a meaningful impact on a child’s growth is what makes being a nanny so important to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with children with special needs through my after-school learning program. I’ve supported students during learning activities, helped them build confidence, and worked to create a positive environment where they felt comfortable, included, and successful. It has been a very rewarding experience, and I’ve loved getting to know each child’s unique personality and strengths.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when one of my students who was usually really quiet finally felt comfortable enough to join in on a dance activity with the rest of the group. Seeing them smile, have fun, and come out of their shell made my whole day. Moments like that are why I love working with kids.
