A little bit about me

I have been a childcare provider for over 40 years, starting at the age of 16 as a babysitter. I have opened and operated two daycare/day school facilities before acquiring my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taken care of newborns to teenagers, single to multiple births (twins - quints), premature newborns within gestational periods of 27 to 34 weeks at birth. I am CPR/First Aide certificated (infant/child/adult), registered with Childcare Providers of California as well as First line. I have and am currently in the process of becoming a foster care parent and respite, with a background check on file with the federal government. I enjoy being a childcare provider, love watching those in my care grow, learn and discover the world around them and then having my perspective renewed through their eyes. There is no greater feeling then spending the day with a child and getting reconnected with the joy of life and living.
