Hi! I’m Rhyca, a student at the University of Alabama studying to become a Pediatric Physician Assistant. I have several years of experience working with children through nannying, summer camps, youth programs, and volunteer work both locally and abroad. I currently work with children as a YMCA camp counselor and have cared for kids of various ages in both group and one-on-one settings.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a child gain confidence in something they had been struggling with. After spending time encouraging them, practicing with them, and celebrating their progress, seeing how proud they were of themselves was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me why I love working with children—not just because they’re fun and energetic, but because I get to be a positive influence in their growth, confidence, and everyday lives.
