not a nanny experience but a babysitting one. I watched my mother's best friends sisters two year old daughter, Trinity for a weekend while she was on a trip. I took Trinity to the Cincinnati Butterfly exhibit. It was her first time seeing butterflies up close and personal. She was very scared and pretty over stimulated with a bunch of butterflies flying around. I had to show her, when one landed on me, that they're not as scary as she thought they were. Her seeing me, gently picking up the butterfly and putting it on my finger made her want to "pet" the butterfly. It was pretty special moment when her tears became smiles. We spent the rest of the exhibit taking pictures of her with the butterflies.
