Hi!
My name is Riley Vines, i am 19, and a student. I’m CPR certified, but it needs renewal. As well as, darkness to light training, this is a class i took that teaches you the tools to be aware of assault & how to spot & help the victims. I am an older sister to 2 boys and have grown up as an assumed nanny for my home. I absolutely love children and teaching them new experiences. I feel as though experiences make the difference between types of adults. I am a student at UWG & enrolled in the honors college. As well as, VP-Finance for my sorority. I love being outdoors, playing with animals, and staying active. I have always cared for younger children and find joy in watching them grow! I also have experience with older children and their interests, from being with my preteen brothers. I am home for the holidays through January. However, Carrollton is only a 30 minute drive so i am willing to commute through the spring and move back home during the summer. I hope to hear from you!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being kind and helping the development of the children. I feel as though when you think of a young nanny you imagine this highschool girl who has no attachment to the child and doesn’t care to actually take care of them. However, i am not this girl and know how crucial kindness, understanding, and compassion are when it comes to children. As well as the impact you could have as a babysitter. And i want that impact to be a good one.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was summer of 2019 & I was watching this little 10 month old boy named Asher. He was still very attached to his mom and would cry cry cry whenever she would leave for work. The very first time she left I was able to distract him and he never cried, a little fussy but no tears. Then he would sit in my lap, lay back as if i were his chair and would watch his morning cartoons, eat his blueberry puffs, and fall back asleep. He would sleep on me like this for an hour or so and then wake up the happiest little boy. His morning cuddles were always my favorite part of the day, so sweet!
