I’m an art student in Boston, I’ve been babysitting since I was 12, been a camp counselor, and have worked in early childhood education as a certified teacher for 3+ years. I love helping kids be independent people and showing them that their thoughts and feelings are important. I also love arts and crafts and exploring children’s personal interests with them. I drive, I can do some light housekeeping and meal prep and am generally very flexible. Very excited to get to know you and your family :)

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a toddler teacher and have been for over 3 years, EEC certified and worked with infants through pre k at my center. Also have experience as a counselor at an overnight camp for 13-15 year olds.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love exploring nature with children, finding fun places to discover and sight seeing. I also love reading and arts and crafts and have lots of ideas for any age group. Happy to be active and do some fun forms of exercise as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think trust between me and the kids and the parents is most important. I want you to have full trust in me that I will take extreme care of your family and know that I can also communicate in a kind and productive way. And of course, it's important that your kids take a liking to me! Their needs are always first. I want to make sure we have lots of fun as well.

My experience with special needs children...

At the center where I worked I would evaluate children for development and suggested early intervention for some families. I worked with some toddlers who were struggling with behavioral issues. Ultimately though I have no specific straining for caring for children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was working at my center, one of my toddlers came up to me looking for her belly button. She was wearing overalls and couldn't find it. She said she lost it and started looking on the ground exclaiming, "It's gotta be around here somewhere!"
