Beyond caring for and/or babysitting a few of my younger family members in the past, I’ve experienced holding a safe space for children in other settings:
In my early teens I enjoyed making the time to volunteer reading time at a library in my hometown to the local kids who were interested.
As well as some missionary work during a summer that included feeding and organizing activity time for less fortunate youth; interacting with them that way.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I enjoy would be teaching of any kind, the more fun and interactive, the better! Flashcards, reading stories, helping with homework, playing exciting but equally knowledgeable games, coloring or setting up their favorite foods/snacks with their help. The list goes on!
The most important part about being a nanny...
