A little bit about me

Hi! My preferred name is River. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill last year and have spent the past year working in the mental health field. During that time, I gained valuable experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), where I worked directly with children with autism. While I found that the ABA field isn’t the right long-term fit for me, I discovered how much I truly enjoy working with children. I’m confident in my ability to support their growth, teach new skills, and create a safe and positive environment for them to thrive.

I offer child care, pet care, and household assistance. My experience includes bottle feeding, potty training and diaper changes, arts and crafts, following routines, playtime, and reading. I’ve also worked as an assistant housekeeper for two years, so I can help with light cleaning, cooking, and errands as needed.

I’m an animal lover with two cats of my own, and I’m very comfortable caring for other cats. I’m also open to caring for dogs.
