A little bit about me

I am a loving and compassionate newborn, infant, and toddler nanny with over two decades of experience. Currently I'm pursuing my PhD, therefore I am looking for part-time work. I love working with newborns toddlers, and pre-school aged children and my background is in REI and Montessori style care, helping to foster independence, self-expression, and a sense of trust and safety along with curiosity and joy.
I have worked as a sleep training consultant with multiple babies (ideally starting around 6 months old). I've also worked closely with new mothers, tending to newborns overnight so parents can get some much needed sleep.

I love spending time outdoors, going for walks, playing, and swimming. I also love reading to children and engaging them in imaginative, self-led play. I tend to let children lead the way, following their fascinations and interests while making sure everyone is safe. Cooking, arts and crafts, sensory play, and other activities are all fair game. When caring for children I tend to keep my phone and screens away, making sure to remain engaged and present throughout our time together.
