A little bit about me

I have a Bachelors degree in Human Services/ Counseling. I have a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education,. In addition, I have 30+ hours in applied behavior analysis classes . I have over 15 years experience teaching children with special needs as well as teaching a reverse mainstream classroom. I have 2 adult son’s, one grandson and a granddaughter on the way! I come from a very large family and have been around children of all ages my entire life, often in a caretaker role. I truly enjoy spending time with children, playing, nurturing, fostering all areas of development and educational growth. Many nieces and nephews , as well as former and current students consider me their very favorite. 😀As a bonus, I guarantee lots of hugs and laughter! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am one of the youngest of eight siblings. I’ve had nieces and nephews since I was three years old. I’ve been helping care for many of them since I was about 10 years old. As a result, my hand is a seriously accurate estimator of a fever. I have two adult sons and one grandson. I also have a grandmother relationship with several former students and parents.

I come from a very large family and have been surrounded by young children my entire life.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Oh so very many😀. . I know my husband is tired of me coming home and talking about my experiences and funny/loving/ proud moments with my “kids”. My own biological children would get annoyed as teenagers when I went to the grocery store and came home with items designated for my “kids” in my classroom. 😀
