A little bit about me

I am in my last year of a teaching program for Elementary Education and Special Education. I worked for 3 years in a self-contained Autism classroom. The students ranged from ages 6 to 12. I taught pre-k through 6th grade material.

While I have no certifications, I have spent a lot of time reading about both Montessori and Waldorf approaches to early childhood education. I like to use a mix of both with a heaping dose of nature schooling.

I do have a child of my own. I would either need to be able to bring him with me or provide care in my own home. My home has a playroom set up in a Montessori-inspired style with no screens. We regularly go to parks on our own or with other children and caretakers.

I'm happy to work with you to create a schedule and approach that you are most comfortable with. I love seeing children learn and grow and thrive.
