More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to be a teacher with the school district, and I worked at a preschool and I ended up becoming friends with parents and they hired me to watch their children. It was two families altogether nine children, one being a child that came from CPS and I was their caretaker, their nanny. Whenever they would go on vacation I would be right there with them and I just absolutely love what I did with them as their nanny. I can provide references if need be.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts! I love to do projects, but I also like outdoor play because I feel being in nature one can become grounded and that’s important when it comes to children. I like to do lesson plans because this will make not only me organize but a child or children can know what to expect for that day

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is that you partake in a child’s development and you’re there every step of the way for that child whether it be just preparing their meals to homework, and to just having conversations and teaching them about life.

My experience with special needs children...

When I work for the school district and for charter schools, I have experience working with children that has special needs in a SLD class or an autism class.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is the children that I used to take care of, they were all dancers in a dance group. I would take them to practice and I would see them practicing. I watched them practicing and then when they would have their recital or competition, it would just make me smile because I felt I was a part of this competition or recital because I watched them practice for it and how they excelled! Afterwards, I’d make sure they would have their dinner already prepared and we would do our nighttime routine so they will be ready in the morning for school.
