The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most about being a nanny to me is having great communication with the family. Being a nanny I think it's very important to find that balance between patience/ but also being able to teach the child rules and boundaries for his/or her own safety. To teach them kindness/sharing etc. Being able to help a child learn and grow is truly a blessing and something to approach in a loving way!
My experience with special needs children...
I have had experience with special needs children within the preschools Iv'e worked at. Level of special needs varied with the children. I made sure to talk them through emotional moments/ give them the proper tools they needed to help them learn and grow with my help.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I worked for a family with a 4 year old boy, and I got to be there the day that mom brought home his little brother from the hosipital to meet him. Watching that was a very special moment, and I was lucky to be apart of that.
