i’ve been babysitting family, distant family, friends of my parents, etc since i was 13. kids of all ages, usually around 4, 5 and 6.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
i will play dress up, play imaginary games that the kids make up, i took a class for school on ASL so i can teach the kids a little bit of sign language for when they’re not feeling in the speaking mood, or if they’re in a bad mood, to avoid giving mom attitude, or so me and the kids can have a secret language. if you have animals the kids need to help out with, i’ll make it a game, i can pretty much think up a game for any situation, cleaning, brushing teeth, or anything they have issues with involving consistency or quality. i also love go fish, depending on age i can teach them numbers and letters, i’ll play tag and hide and seek, i’m around kids all the time so i’ve adapted to having child like interests basically 😂
The most important part about being a nanny...
When i would babysit my uncles brothers kids and they would say “can our friend stay the night? OOH let’s go to her house we can stay at aunties house” it’s so cute
