Relevant experience caring for children includes my role as an assistant teacher at the YMCA in the 1½ to 2-year-old classroom. I currently work as an assistant teacher in the infant room, where I care for babies ranging from 4 weeks to 12 months old. In both roles, I have gained hands-on experience supporting children's development, creating a safe and nurturing environment, assisting with daily routines, and building strong relationships with both children and their families.

The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting connection with the children. When children feel safe, understood, and cared for, they are more confident, curious, and comfortable being themselves. I believe taking the time to get to know each child's unique personality and creating a supportive, fun, and loving environment is the foundation for helping them learn, grow, and thrive.

I do not have direct professional experience working with children with special needs at this time. However, I am patient, compassionate, eager to learn, and committed to providing individualized care while following the family's guidance and any necessary accommodations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite childcare memories is our Friday bubble time with the older infants. We would go outside, blow bubbles, and play together every week. At first, many of the babies would just watch the bubbles float by, but over time they became so excited whenever they saw them. One of the sweetest moments was hearing several of the older infants start trying to say "bubbles." Watching them connect a fun activity with a new word and seeing how excited they were every Friday was incredibly rewarding.
