I worked as a para educator for the Orinda school district for special education students. I went through LVN training at Unitek and took child development and performed my pediatrics at Oaklands Children Hospital. A majority of my experience comes from one on one childcare with families. I enjoy being active with children. I love taking them to parks. Different parks that are all cool experiences. I encourage play with others so they can learn to socialize. I love taking them to the library. I read to children every day. I've helped two kids learn to swim at my home. I love taking them on field trips. I've taken kids to six flags, jumping bumpity, rode the bart train, or to various museums like Lindsey wildlife museum, the zoo, etc...I love taking children out to learn about the world or we hang out and do arts and crafts. I love to dance and sing with kids as well. We often do the tooty ta ta or other silly dances. I also do cooking with kids (older) like baking cookies, etc...Anything that encourages kids to play and socialize and learn I am all for!

I have a nursing degree and have worked with children of all ages with various special needs ranging from behavioral to physical as well. I've worked with children all over the spectrum. So due to my nursing background it really helps families with children with special needs because I understand the psychology and physiology behind it.
