I have hands on experience (2 yrs+) caring for a child with significant physical disabilities, where I supported her with all daily needs including feeding, bathing, dressing, and mobility. Alongside physical care, I focused on providing emotional support and mental stimulation through interaction, engagement, and a calm, nurturing presence. This experience strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to create a safe, respectful, and loving environment for children with higher support needs.

One of my favorite nanny moments is when a child slowly goes from shy and unsure to completely trusting you, laughing with you, and feeling safe in your care. Those little moments the silly jokes, proud smiles, hugs, and seeing their personality come out more each day always mean the most to me. It’s such a special feeling to know you made their day brighter!
