"Rowan was our babysitter from the time my child was born until she was about 18 months old. We were incredibly disappointed to lose Rowan as our caretaker when they moved out of our area. Rowan is kind, a great listener, and excellent at engaging children with creative art, dramatic play, and other enriching activities. My child always looked forward to seeing Rowan and spending time with them. Rowan closely followed our instructions on mealtimes, bedtimes, and household rules to maintain our child’s structure and schedule. My child has mild to moderate health issues including eczema and multiple food allergies, but we never felt concerned when Rowan was watching her. Rowan is incredibly attentive and contentious. We miss having Rowan as our babysitter and would recommend them to anyone looking for childcare."

I have looked after family and friends children whilst attending school as well as taught Sunday School classes for first grade students. I lived with my sister for about three months and looked after her three-year-old daughter for the majority of the day M-F.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do arts and crafts with children, allowing them to explore their creative side and as well as work on fine motor skills. I also enjoy exploring nature on walks and even just in the backyard with children. I find introducing children to the beauty of the earth is something they enjoy, and what kid doesn't love to pick up rocks really. I enjoy finding creative ways to merge traditional learning with fun games to make simple school work seem fun and enjoyable as well, giving children a passion of education is something I value very strongly.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is to give a child a proper example of a kind person . To nourish their minds with not just traditional math and language education, but through art and other creative means is incredibly valuable. Most of all, I find teaching children healthy and effective communication of their wants, needs and feelings is what I find the most pride in as a nanny and what I know will benefit children throughout their lives.
