I am an Arizona native but grew up a military child. I have an Associates degree in Psychology along with many years and trainings in childcare. I am the oldest of 4 kids so working with children comes naturally to me. I love reading, crocheting and crafting fun activities!

I am a kind, caring, and compassionate teacher in music education. I had a very successful career in music education at a variety of private schools such as New England Conservatory of Music, Longy School of Music of Bard College, Winchester Community Music School, Point CounterPoint, North Shore Conservatory, and Olin College of Engineering. I have taught violin and piano as a Certified Suzuki Teacher. In addition, I am a mind/body instructor with Teaching Certificates in Tai Chi/Qi Gong China, and the Alexander Technique with Ted Dimon. My students have ranged in age from 3 years old up to 60 years old. I have integrated mindful modalities with learning music in order to bring out the best in their playing and performing. My teaching methods incorporate an approach that reduces tension, facilitates balance, and expands freedom. As a program director and music administrator for the last twenty years, I really enjoy working the public to encourage a love of classical music.
