I was working in a school working with ages starting from 6 months - 9 years old. I volunteer at my youngest cousins third grade class and have years of watching over my youngest cousins. Games, learning activities, reading books, dance party!, watching movies and singing songs, playing with toys, being silly and just getting to know them and watch them grow!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part to me is safety. Making sure I have good communication with the parents about what the child needs and how I can properly execute. The second most important to me would be responsibility. Knowing something and executing are two different things. Once again, communication is very important, especially when caring for kids. I understand entrusting someone with your child can be a really vulnerable moment and I want to make sure I am doing everything possible to make the parents feel comfortable with me. For the kids (after my other two of course) would be to get to know them! Learn their mannerisms and have fun when we can!
