Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing fun little crafts. Baking is always fun to do. One of my favorite things to do with the little ones is to make a fort, watch a movie and eat snacks! I like playing outside and going for walks and adventures! I like doing dress up and pretending. Building things can be so cool. These are just a few examples of things that kids have enjoyed doing in the past. If your child is into something else I would be glad to do anything to bring a smile to their faces!😁
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part about being a nanny is Teaching the kids new things and having fun with them. I love to see little kids laugh and smile. It warms my heart (I know that was a little cheesy but it’s true) It’s also important to me to help the parents out a bit and giving them a little break from their kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had experience with one special needs child. She had autism. We had a lot of fun together. But I would rather not babysit special needs kids right now. I want to eventually be able to nanny for all children but for now I would rather not do special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was with this little girl with autism. She was usually quiet and didn’t like a lot of people. It took a while to get used to even some of her family members. When I met her she was shy at first but I was very patient with her. In just a few days she wanted me to hold her and dance with her all the time. Her mom was very surprised that she got used to me so fast. This just made me feel so warm inside that she opened up to me so quickly.🥰
