Hi! My name is Ruby Wayman, and I’m an 18-year-old high school senior who absolutely loves being around children. I have grown up caring for kids and have plenty of hands-on experience from helping babysit and care for all 9 of my siblings. Being around children has taught me how to be patient, responsible, attentive, and, most importantly, how to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m very active and love keeping kids engaged instead of relying on screens or devices to keep them entertained. I believe children learn and grow best through hands-on experiences, creativity, and play. Whether it’s helping me bake cookies, playing outside, doing arts and crafts, playing recreational games, or simply finding fun ways to keep their minds active, I love creating an environment where kids can have fun, learn new things, and be themselves.
