Hello, I am a freshman at Chico State seeking a part-time nanny position. I have been caring for children since I was 13 and have managed my own swim lesson business for four years now. In my senior year of high school, I was a nanny for a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old. My responsibilities included cooking, playing, helping with homework, driving them to sports, and preparing them for bed. I enjoy cleaning and helping out in general. I would describe my personality as enthusiastic, caring, patient, supportive, positive, reliable, and overall a kind person. I love working with children because they bring so much joy and curiosity into each day, and their boundless energy is a constant reminder of why I chose to nanny. I run my own swim instructing in the summer. Where I have taught ages from 7 month olds- adults. It is truly an amazing job, seeing kids improve on their swimming, making it fun, and watching them learn! I have learned patience and became more strategic!

I love to take them to the park, paint, draw, make forts, play made up games, ride bikes, etc!

I love the idea of being a role model and setting a good example on kids. Also seeing how excited they get when I want to play with them. It truly brings me joy to be around kids.

My favorite nanny moment has to be the time where I come to the house, and they run up to me so excited to hang out! They always had handcrafted presents for me that they made! Always brought me joy to see the impact I had on their lives!
