Hello! My name is Ryan Henry and I've been working as an infant and toddler preschool teacher for the past three years and have also taught little ones in Sunday school. Caring for babies and young children is truly my joy and my passion.
I am currently studying Early Childhood Development, and I love learning new ways to help children grow and feel safe, happy, and loved. I have cared for ages as young as four months so, I'm very comfortable with feeding, diaper changes, naps, and creating fun, age-appropriate activities that help with early development. I also believe in gentle care, lots of patience, and working closely with parents to keep routines and values consistent.

I a super upbeat and passionate early childhood educator with experience across multiple age groups, from infants to pre-k. Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to work at Woodmont Christian Preschool in Nashville, where I’ve nurtured and supported children's development in the infant, two-year-old, and pre-k classes—most recently serving in the youngest infant class. With over a decade of experience as a trusted babysitter for children of all ages and four years as a Sunday School teacher, I bring warmth, patience, and a deep love for helping children learn and grow. Childcare is truly my greatest passion, and I find joy in creating nurturing environments where every child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to thrive.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe everything is a learning experience and learning can be fun! I love being outside and being active. I played college soccer and played basketball and tennis for my High School teams. I love to sing and dance. I love to color, play games and am up for anything!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is developing a relationship with the family to the point of love and trust . It is important to me that the kids feel loved, secure, seen and heard, cared for and encouraged to be able to accomplish absolutely anything they set their minds to. I believe it is my job as a nanny to set up my kids to be the best they can be and believe they can achieve their full potential!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked a charity event for people who have special needs but I don't currently have any experience with special needs children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is when the parents came home and were pleasantly surprised to see their kids helping me clean up the house after a day of fun! Later that week, the kids were at church running around telling all of their friends how much fun they had with me!
