A little bit about me

Hi!

My name is Ryan, and I’ve worked as an early learning lead teacher for the last 3 years with children ranging from newborns to 6 years old. I also have experience babysitting for infants through age 8 during date nights and in-home care.

I love working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment through art, sensory play, outdoor activities, and routines that help children thrive. I also have some experience supporting children with disabilities.

I have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and I’m currently looking for part-time nanny work around 25–30 hours a week. I have certifications for food safety, first aid/CPR, sleep safe, and blood born pathogens. I do have other trainings I'm happy to discuss around childcare as well.

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making different sensory or stem projects for the kids (taste safe play doughs, slimes, ice painting, water buckets, etc.). I'm also super artistic and love doing different art activities with children, such as finger and sponge painting, coloring, sticker and stamp art. When outside, I enjoy teaching the kids how to use different play toys like bikes, cars, climbing toys, exploring water tables in the summer, different sports toys like basket and soccer balls.

My experience with special needs children...

I've worked mostly with kids on the spectrum or physical delays while at the early learning center I've worked at the last few years. I'm familiar with nonverbal children and ASL for under 6 years old, as well as helping with extra support for children who struggle to walk and move.
