A little bit about me

Hello, I’m Ryley! I am 18 years old and have been working/volunteering to care for children for over 5 years. My most recent job was as a head daycare teacher to thirteen 1 and 2 year olds. I have been working there for the past 5 months. I really loved the job, I just wanted something more personalized to where I could cater to all the needs of the children if there was a lesser amount. I start college in the fall to further my education of children and their development; I am majoring in early childhood education. I want to be a teacher some day and plan to get as much experience with different age ranges of children as possible. I plan to treat any nannying job as I treated my daycare job; with open communication and transparency.

I’ve done volunteer work through my church were I cared for children two evenings out of the week ages 0-9 years old. I also worked at a daycare/preschool where I worked with infants and toddlers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time outdoors with children whether we be at the playground, coloring with chalk, popping bubbles, or pushing them on the swings. As for indoor activities I love reading stories, doing crafts, watching movies, baking, and singing fun songs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me most is building the trust of the child and making them feel safe and secure while in my care. I like to be their fun friend while also helping them learn new concepts about the world and themselves.
