A little bit about me

Hi!

Im Sabrina im a 23 year old grad from SU! I Love being playful with kids and being able to creatively teach them new things as I believe there is a lesson to learn in every action! I enjoy cooking and having fun in the kitchen as well as getting outside (when the weather permits) and spending time in the fresh air. I also adore animals and have spent my whole life around them, training is almost second nature at this point haha.

While at SU I studied Theater Design (which extends to movies!) where I learned all about costumes, sets, lighting, makeup and sound- but most of all how to collaborate and make work FUN! Although I enjoyed my degree, over the past year I have gotten more into interior design and decorating, but have always found a comfort in spending time with children and families, helping out whenever possible!

I love fast-paced work and even when there's "down time" im always looking for something else to accomplish.

I have been an assistant art teacher for middle schoolers along with teaching dance to elementary schoolers!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I LOVE spending outside time, getting out of the house and getting some fresh air- playing pretend and pushing their imaginations!

In the past I have loved gardening with children along with baking, getting them involved in the things your interested and letting them learn while feeling included and "Big" is important to me!

Having goals on what to accomplish with the kids, but making sure they are still having fun!

Its honestly very simple, but just when the kids come up to me for hugs or cuddles.

Specifically though, one boy I had a while back loved fire engines and while in the park one day we saw one pass, he waved and they ended up pulling over for him and letting him turn the lights on and play with the siren- even giving him a small tour of the truck- The way his face lit up made my month- always makes me smile to think about.
