Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For years I would go to church and help in the children’s ministry for toddlers and infants for four hours each Sunday. I believe that’s where my love for child care started.

Going to the museum and exploring, or trips to the park and beach. Making sure to always keep mom/dad filled in on our day with a few photo bombs of their little ones.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being that person the children can turn to knowing you will be a sense of protection as well as someone they can count on while their moms and dads aren’t around. Every new family I meet and care for I treat the children as my own. Lots of love, and being able to explain things in a young adult manner understanding wrongs and rights if there ever were a situation with sibling fights, explaining how the other might feel if the rolls were reversed.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a few years of sign language in my belt, all though it has been some time since I’ve used it I’m sure I’ll be able to handle more simpler signs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
A bit of a bitter sweet moment I’m sure for his mom. But after I was getting back to the families home to drop off the 1year old after a long day at the dinosaur museum in SD, he fell aslee so in an attempt to transfer him to his crib from the car seat he woke up. That day was different because mom was home, so I just went to hand him to her and he didn’t want me to leave and just wanted me. Then his older brother came around the corner and handed me a card he made about how I am “the bestest ever”.
