The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was the first time a little boy I cared for finally trusted me enough to fall asleep in my arms. He had been shy and hesitant with new people, so I spent the first few days reading to him, playing gently, and just letting him warm up to me. When he finally snuggled up and fell asleep, his mom told me he usually only did that with her—it was such a sweet moment and a sign that he felt safe and loved with me. It reminded me why I love being a nanny: building trust and making children feel secure.
