I’m the 3rd oldest child of 9, giving me a lot of experience and knowledge with children and kids. I have 5 sisters and 3 brothers, making me a middle child. I’m very understanding, patient, observant and take child safety very seriously, no matter the child.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being able to play outdoors in the sun especially with kids. Being able to connect children with nature is an opportunity on its own but I also love having indoor fun like playing toys with the kids, hide and seek or others like board games. Sometimes creating games on their own is also fun for the kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel the most important part about being a nanny is being able to have a sweet, reliable and safe connection with not only the kids but the parents too. Allowing the parents to know that their child is in safe hands is a great stress reliever and definitely grows your relationship. Growing, helping and being able to teach a child is apart of the beautiful journey.
My experience with special needs children...
My 2nd to youngest sister, 13, has ADHD and autism. She needs extra care and sometimes extra attention especially when she needs help but I'm always glad to give it. With special needs children, it’s great to always listen and observe to make sure they’re able to express how they truly feel and think without issue or triggering them. Special needs children have a soft spot in my heart.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A favorite nanny moment of mine is when I cared for my aunts kids (my cousins) and when it was time to leave, they cried for me to stay.
