I have 8yrs of babysitting experience, as well as experience helping my sister care for my niece whom is now a toddler and watching other family members and family friends children. I used to babysit for my neighbors up until they moved away.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing at the park and teaching kids about plants and nature outside. I love building with blocks and Legos, as well as playing board and card games. My niece loves bubbles so I am a professional at blowing bubbles. I enjoy moving around dancing, or just any movement to help get their energy out. I really love helping kids learn their ABC's and 123's as well as basic math and reading and other skills as well. I enjoy Disney movies when allowed and painting, drawing and coloring.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is caring and protecting the children. Being a good example for the next generation is also a huge thing as well. I think also helping out parents is very important I know it can be hard to be away from your kids for work or whatever other reason and to know you have someone caring for your kid and home that you trust is important. Communication goes a long way with the parent and with children that's always been important to me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Having a dinosaur tea party with one of the kids I had babysat, we gathered all of her dinosaurs and tea set and drank "tea" with dinosaurs, oh she was the most precious kid.
