More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been caring for children since my teenage years through babysitting for families and helping care for children of different ages. Over the past two years, I have also worked in a daycare setting, where I gained hands-on experience supervising groups of children, maintaining routines, planning activities, preparing meals and snacks, and creating a safe, positive environment for learning and play.
Working closely with children has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to stay calm and dependable in busy situations. I genuinely enjoy supporting children’s growth and development while building trusting relationships with both kids and parents.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy creating fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that help children learn, explore, and express themselves. Some of my favorite activities to do with children include arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor play, educational games, music and dancing, baking simple treats, and creative play that encourages imagination and confidence.
I also enjoy helping with homework, teaching basic life skills, and planning activities that balance fun with learning. My goal is always to keep children active, happy, and supported while creating positive experiences they can enjoy and remember.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children can grow, learn, and feel supported. A great nanny does more than supervise — they become a positive role model, provide emotional support, encourage development, and build strong relationships with both the children and their family. Patience, communication, reliability, and genuine care are what truly make a nanny exceptional.
My experience with special needs children...
Over the past two years working in a daycare setting, I have gained valuable experience caring for children with special needs, primarily children on the autism spectrum who were nonverbal, partly verbal, and highly verbal. This experience has helped me develop strong patience, understanding, and communication skills while learning how to adapt to each child’s individual needs and personality.
I understand the importance of creating a calm, structured, and supportive environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and encouraged. I have experience assisting with routines, sensory-sensitive situations, emotional regulation, social interaction, and finding creative ways to communicate and connect with each child. I truly enjoy building trusting relationships with children and supporting their growth, confidence, and independence at their own pace.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments working with children was seeing a child I cared for become more confident and comfortable over time. After building trust and consistency through patience, encouragement, and daily routines, it was incredibly rewarding to watch them open up, communicate more, and enjoy participating in activities with others. Moments like that remind me why I love working with children — being able to positively impact their growth, happiness, and confidence is the most fulfilling part of being a nanny.
