Hi! My name is Samantha Martin. I am 20 years old and I am finishing my Associates in Science in Early Childhood Education. I am also CPR and first aid certified by the American Heart Association with my 45 DCF hours and Child Development Association certification. I have 2 years of experience as an inclusive pre-kindergarten teacher teacher. I also have experience tutoring grades pre-kindergarten to 4th grade. On top of this, I was an administrator at a middle school during summers. I am also pursuing my registered behavioral technician license. I love working with children and all the fun that comes with them. My goal is to help children those “ah hah” moments when they learn something new, whether it is an academic or social skill. The most important part of childcare is 100% safety. However, there is no reason we need to always compromise safety for fun. As a child care professional my goal has always been to carefully create an environment where my students are always safe while having fun.
