I was also a substitute teacher for 2 yrs. for the John Glenn School Corporation. I worked with children from k-12th grade as well as those with special needs.

I enjoy reading, arts & crafts, outside play and card/board games as well as bike riding, roller blading and exploring with the children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny for me is the family knowing that their child(ren) are in great hands with someone who has raised children of their own as well as worked with many children of different ages and loves children more than anything. Peace of mind knowing your child (ren) are safe while you are gone is a huge thing as a parent myself.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for a special needs child for a little over a yr. (sibling of 5 children) with angelmans syndrome and used a g-tube.
