My experience with special needs children...
I’ve cared for two children with special needs in my time of babysitting. One was on the autism spectrum and the other was hard of hearing. Ive learned that body language, facial expressions, and sign language are helpful ways to communicate when children don’t want to/ can’t communicate through speech.

I was putting one of the little girls I babysat to bed and I was shutting the door when she softly said my name. I asked what it was she needed and she just told me she loved me. Kids are so pure.
