Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I met and became friends with a coworker and she was looking for someone to look after her child. This child was 3 years old and he was special needs. It turned out he had aspergers and a speech impediment. She fell in love with my personality and who I was so she thought I’d be the perfect fit for him. I told her I didn’t have a lot of experience but I always took after my niece and nephews. After I talked with her she took me back to met her son and I fell in love. There’s nothing more important than taking after someone when they need it most. There was a lot going on so I was only able to take care of him for a few months and then they moved. Ever since then iv been helping kids, people or pets, whenever the opportunity is given to me.

Doing what it takes to care of every individual with care and pleasure. Not everybody is the same. Paying attention to each and every kid regardless of the situation makes a difference.
My experience with special needs children...
I was experiencing a hard time earlier in my life regarding my family. After a few years I was placed in an adult program that helps individuals with whatever it is they need help with. In this particular program there was a range of different levels of functioning adults, adults in wheel chairs with Down syndrome all the way to full function. I was able to be around them and help them with a few things even though I wasn’t placed as anything higher than what they were.
