A little bit about me

Hello! I’m a Benedictine graduate fluent in English and Spanish, currently learning Assyrian. I’m looking to babysit for more flexibility to pursue my passions. I have experience caring for three kids—a baby and two in grade school—for a non-related family, plus I grew up in a large family with 14 nieces and nephews. In my family, I am known as the babysitter!

From 2019 to 2022, I nannied two of my nieces while following my sister's preferences, like no TV and specific routines. I enjoy being creative, especially drawing, and I love fostering a positive, fun environment for kids. I also use a Montessori approach to support their individual development.

I’m transitioning from a dental administrative career, and babysitting will allow me to focus on my creative goals. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with your kids!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Both of these families requested no electronics. I helped with some cleaning including laundry. I was very punctual with their schedules (extracurriculars and nap time).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I genuinely strive to limit screen time when I can. I find so much joy in engaging in fun games, creative arts and crafts, and exploring exciting places. If their parents are open to it, I love incorporating Zumba or dance routines from YouTube into our playtime. It not only brings us joy but also helps the little ones unwind and feel ready for nap time or bedtime. My nieces and I especially have a blast playing hot potato with music.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have direct experience in this area, but I have often tutored and cared for my niece, who has some behavioral issues and a learning disability. She also did not communicate and would become easily discouraged. I consider myself to be very patient and strive to find creative solutions to help individuals with similar challenges.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a true passion for arts and crafts, perhaps even more than the kids do! It's heartwarming to witness their excitement as they create something unique. I love seeing their creativity shine through, and it brings me so much joy to support them in their imaginative expressions.
