A little bit about me

My name is Samantha and I'm a current Masters in Public Health Candidate at UNC-Chapel Hill! As both a professional and a friend, I am highly compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented. As a resident assistant during my undergraduate studies, I worked directly with students to resolve conflicts, help them access and utilize various resources, and coordinated and hosted a multitude of fun events to engage the community while also having educational takeaways.

I've developed a passion for working alongside children as I've grown into an older sister, an older cousin, as well as an aunt of three. I have several years worth of babysitting experience, caring for children anywhere from the age of 8 months old through 15 years old. In 2023, I spent 3 months in Madrid as an Au Pair in to two children ages 2 and 4. This experience and my time with a family I have grown to love and remain in touch with is what inspired me to continue in this line of work part-time while pursuing my MPH!
