The most important part about being a nanny to me is being there for not only the child but for the family also. Having a relationship with the child and making sure they're always safe and happy. Also making sure the parents are informed with anything happening.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a couple of relatives with Autism that I had taken care of. I had also worked with a young boy when I worked as a teachers assistant who needed one on one attention.
