A little bit about me

I am a highly experienced mother of 2 and have worked with students with special needs and mental problems for 15 years. I started as a babysitter for my little sisters the progressed and worked for my sisters, sister in law and her children as a teenager. I have worked with all ages. I am CPR/First Aid certified and have training in seizures, and have given medications. My personal right and choice is to not be vaccinated but I will wear a mask. I love to cook Mexican food, and all other foods. Light cleaning and making sure the house is tidy is something I naturally like to do. I have my own vehicle, love pets, and the outdoors!! I have extensive personal experience with taking care of my sisters when I was young, family kiddos, neighbors, my own as a mother, and working for a high school-special education.

I cannot deny I love all activities, both inside and outside!! I love to sing and dance, color, learning activities/sensory. Going to parks, picnics, walking, bike rides, rollerblading, anything active, I truly enjoy!

My experience with special needs children...

I have personal experience working with special needs individuals. I have family members on the Autism spectrum, as well as my own son, diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability. I have also worked in a high school special education setting, working with students with an array of disabilities- verbal and non verbal. I am able to redirect as needed with a very gentle yet firm tone.
