Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a Certified Nurse Assistant with 10 years hands on experience taking care of elderly and children alike. The last 6 yrs were spent taking care of Dementia patients in an Assisted Living facility. My experience with Dementia as taught me so much about Love, Compassion, Patience, Endurance, Safety, communicating effectively, Overcoming challenges and making time to be creative and just have fun at their level. I am CPR certified, experienced at assessing behavioral and health changes, Creating activities that promote a stimulating environment for the young and elderly population. I have experience taking care of children as well. I have worked with children with Cerebral Palsy, and many years ago had my own daycare. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love going outdoors , games Library, constant interaction teaching, explaining how things work and why. I am very Artsy and love doing crafts with the children , dancing and just being silly lol. I love little ones such joy they bring! I am a follower of Jesus so sprinkle in bible songs and studies. I understand if that's not you, most importantly lots of hugs and nuturing. I am an energetic grandma type

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me being a Nanny is being their safe place when their parents can't be. That is accomplished through building a healthy relationship with the parents and children. It is so rewarding to walk away knowing I poured in to their lives by being a good role model, teaching, loving, listening , playing , I have such a long list 🥰 Also I don't want to be considered a babysitter , I want to be an integral part of their lives!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Oh my goodness too many , I would have to say, that moment when you are no longer the nanny and still an integral part of their lives, I show up to visit and they come running and hugging me tightly. So rewarding 💕
