Human beings were always meant to raise our children in community with each other. Small children are actively developing their lifelong blueprint for attachment and connection, while also developing a sense of self. Childhood relationships form the way that we relate to people for the rest of our lives. Having caregivers who are able to attune to you as a little human being learning how to socialize and connect during this time is so vital to setting kids up for success. Safe adults in addition to primary parents in a support circle are vital for kids’ healthy development, as well as the mental health of the parents.

I have worked in an Applied Behavioral Analysis clinic as a Registered Behavioral Technician. I worked with kids on the autism spectrum to learn emotional regulation, as well as social and life skills.
