A little bit about me

I am 20 years old and have been a nanny consistently since 2012 with experience from 2 month olds to 12 year olds. Back in NY I would work 4-6 days a week, sometimes two families on the same day. I was always mature for my age and as the oldest by 6 years of 17 cousins, whom all went to my school and lived close by, I have always had a passion for working with children. I believe nannying is so much more than making sure the children are safe. It's about developing a relationship with the child and their family & helping the child grow through attentive interaction.
I enjoy arts and crafts, sports, reading, and participating in imaginative play. I am great at multitasking making sure all children feel like they're getting attention while also making sure any housework is done. I am quick to pick up on the family routine and lifestyle. I am comfortable with housework and pets.
I am fully vaccinated and still take Covid precautions seriously.

The most important part of being a nanny is not only the children's safety but also adding enrichment to their lives through involvement. I always seek out ways to enter into their world to develop a bond with them by playing with them and not just watching them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is with the evening family I have been with for 2 years. The 4, 3, and 16 month old like to cuddle on the couch and constantly tell me they love me. It warms my heart that we have a close relationship and I've developed a lasting relationship with not only the children but their mother as well.
