A little bit about me

Hi I’m Saphera! I absolutely adore kids & have always been complimented on being a natural born, nurturing mom. And can be very protective. Although I don’t have any of my own yet, I still tend to pour all my love into any child I meet. I’m 23 years old, I have 4 other siblings, 2 of which I helped raise with my mom. Kids and babies have always been a constant in my life. I’ve never really been paid to watch kids because it was for family or friends & I just wanted to help them out. I also took on my exes twin infant girls and would care for them all day and when she would work at night. One of the girls had medical problems with her heart, so I would have to feed her through a feeding tube every 3 hours and other things based on her specific care. My youngest sister has physical disabilities & has been doing physical & speech therapy her whole life. So I’m relatively well versed when comes to kids who need more attention or care & the patience you need to not be discouraged.

My experience with special needs children...

First would be my youngest sister (age 10 now) who’s been doing physical therapy her whole life & speech therapy. maintaining that she continue to learn how to walk & not let anything get in her way of growth. My ex’s infant girl had medical problems that needed tending to every few hours & regular hospital trips. I won’t disclose her problems, but she’s had surgery & has recovered beautifully. I’ve had other experiences w autistic children but they were lower on the spectrum so mainly just social & attention issues. Also took care of a baby that would have constant awake seizures but not much difference in care compared to kids with no problems. I’ve had parents at church & other places ask me about helping their kid(s) with mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, adhd, ptsd, bipolar, bpd, dissociative disorders - I think the reason for that is because of my personal experience with said mental disorders but Im not entirely sure.
