I cared for children at the Boys & Girls club of Bend, I've also Babysat for 6 different families that have two kids or more and was a nanny for a little boy.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is engagement,As long as you are engaged listening to the child's needs and making sure they're happy and having a good time in a safe environment then that's a step towards building a good relationship which is what is also important.Connecting with kids and parents is very important when coming in as a nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven't cared for any children with special needs on my own,I did with another person who was above 21.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I would be making breakfast for these two little girls (6 & 4) and then we would decide to make a fancy breakfast restaurant and pretend that we were princesses eating our royal food.

I have excellent references. I am neat, clean, tidy, organized, on time, and responsible. I am nurturing and child centered.
Right now I am paid salary. I get 2 weeks vacation and 2 weeks sick leave. I drive their car and they pay for gasoline. I live in my own cottage. I do not live on their property.
I am very excited for this new adventure, and it will be quite a huge goodbye to this Island and to these children who have me heart and soul!
