A little bit about me

I've been a nanny for nearly 11 years working with children of all ages and dispositions. I have helped home-school through 5th grade, and was a temporary substitute preschool teacher in a weekly co-op. Being the oldest of 8 children and working with larger families and a 3-family nanny share throughout the years, I thrive caring for lots of kiddos. I've gained a deep understanding of and empathy for the mindsets of children, and I make it a personal mission to provide each child under my care with warmth and safety while also encouraging independence and inner strength. I believe in nurturing curiosity, creativity, and individuality, and will motivate each child to find new interests for us to dive into together, to explore what excites them and foster a love of learning, and to create a foundation for them to trust in their capabilities throughout their growth.
