More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Babysat for multiple families of kids at once for various church events from 14 years old to 22. I then transitioned to being a part time nanny for a family of 3 boys.
I was a preschool teacher/co-lead at a early learning center as well. I have experience as a BHT in a childrens unit so am comfortable learning about the requirements of disabled/specific needs children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Sensory play (smelling flowers, comparing textures of different plants/rocks/tree bark, counting how many ___ we see).
Follow the Leader.
Art/letter writing (hear me out, I think more kids should know how to address envelopes).
Singing, dancing, imagination play, peaceful thoughts/light stretching. I could go on and on.
I am only going to be help with elementary school work sadly, but I am happy to co-ordinate with tutors if necessary.
Meal prepping and light housekeeping are both A-okay here, I think it helps kids to see me take care of the space sometimes, I can often turn it into a game.

The most important part about being a nanny...
When the kid who I struggled to connect with ran up to me one day and told me he missed me. I had made a concerted effort to connect with him and was starting to worry we wouldn't click. (the trick was Beyblades apparently)
