I love to make up games like the floor is lava , freeze tag , hide n seek , but also sensory bins are the best like sand bins , or just anything you can think of! It’s a great way to explore different textures and fun at the same time ! I also love to do paper crafts and coloring!

Showing up. Not just once not twice , but being there and building bonds with the child/baby your watching so that the feel safe. And making sure to have fun!! Making sure the child is comfortable instead of instantly wanting mom back
My experience with special needs children...
My nephew is autistic and I really understand him and he understands me. Having experience where you have to go slow with children and understand why they are upset rather than getting frustrated you don’t know is key, also I have experienced with children who are non -verbal , kids who are physically disabled and more i actually enjoy special needs more than just an average kid or baby because it builds a better bond knowing you can help and child
